S3 Ep 311 Sean Stone...

Updated: Sep 15

Aurelia was seriously fan-girling the night before we interviewed Sean Stone. I didn't quite realise how much of a fan she was, and we spent some time going over his recent interviews to see what kind of questions had already been asked, as we wanted to do something unique. It's interesting how the more you respect someone, the more nervous you are before an interview.

We were thrilled to have a chance to chat with Sean, it felt like a bit of a mental workout at times.

I'm thinking now we could easily do the 6 Degrees Kevin Bacon game.

We chatted a little about interning, it seems in the past decade the idea of working for free has become a standard feature of all creatives' journey, and we share our stories of what we did. I did a bunch of free work for various journalists in Brisbane, at one point being told my work is lovely but I take way too long to get the shot. I was very nerdy then about using a tripod and making everything was just so. I did get to meet a lot of incredible people, up and coming chefs, and try some interesting food. What do you imagine these taste like?

If you said: sticks, you'd be right.
